Veg Pulao Recipe | Vegetable Pulao | Recipe Under 40 Min

Veg Pulao is simple yet one of the tasty recipes that you can try. This is made with full-grain rice and many vegetables. For children or adults who don’t eat vegetables in a regular pattern, this is best as they would not be able to avoid such tasty rice preparation.

Ingredients-

​Full Grain Rice

1 Bowl

Pulao Masala

2-3 teaspoons

Chopped Onion

1/2 bowls

Chopped Tomato

1/4 bowl

Chopped Beans

​1/4 bowl

Chopped Capsicum

1/4 bowl

Green Peas

​1/4 bowl

​Finely Sliced Orange carrots

​1/4 bowl

Finely chopped Whole Spices*

1 teaspoon

Ginger garlic paste

1 tablespoon

​Ghee / Oil

For Cracking

​Salt

​Taste

Chopped Cauliflower (Optional)

1/4 bowl

Chopped Coriander Leaves

1-2 tablespoons


Instructions: -

  1. Rinse the rice in the water till it becomes transparent and soak it for 30 min.

  2. Finely Chop all vegetables (Onion, Tomato, Green Chilly, capsicum, beans) and coriander leaves. If you are adding Carrots, you also need to chop them vertically.

  3. Crush ginger and garlic to make their smooth paste and also peel the green peas.

  4. Heat a deep thick bottom pot or pan and add all the whole spices as mentioned earlier and fry them till oil gets splattered.

  5. Add onion and fry it till onion turns slightly golden.

  6. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry it till that soft aroma smell goes away.

  7. Now, add chopped tomatoes and sauté them for 2-3 min.

  8. Now add all remaining vegetables and sauté them till they cook well. Cover lid if you are having quantity of vegetables.

  9. Add Pulao masala in the prepared mixture and mix it well.

  10. Now add soaked rice and mix it well with the mixture prepared.
