Preparing the evening quick snacks becomes tedious sometimes when we have to start preparation of dinner soon. Sandwiches become handy in such times. In the season of corns usually, though we have corn available nowadays throughout the year, a corn spinach sandwich along with the cheese is a good choice for evening snacks and also a healthy one.

Morning / Evening Breakfast

Ingredients -

Butter / Ghee

​2 tablespoons

Sweet corns ( Peeled corns )

​1 cup

​​Black Paper powder

​¼ teaspoon

​Chopped Spinach

​100 g

All-purpose flour

2 tablespoon

​Milk

​½ cup

Italian Seasoning

½ teaspoon ( optional )

​Red Chili Flakes

​½ teaspoon ( optional )

Bread Slices

5-6 (Whole wheat option better)

Garlic Powder-

​½ teaspoon

​Cheese Slice

1-2 (optional)

Instructions :-

1. Heat the ghee or butter in a pan and add corns to it. Sauté them for 1-2 min and then add black paper powder, and salt in it.

2. Now add spinach leaves to it and cook them till the leaves wilt.

3. Now add all-purpose flour to it and mix the mixture well.

4. Add milk to it and keep stirring the mixture.

5. Now add red chili flakes, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

6. Let the mixture cook for another 2-3 min till the milk dried up completely and the mixture looks like a paste.

7. Now take a bread slice and uniformly apply the spinach corn paste onto it. Top it with the cheese slice if you are using it.

8. Place another bread slice on that bread and toast the sandwich in a toaster or gas toaster.

9. Make the rest of the sandwiches in the same way and serve hot sandwiches with tomato sauces.
